• 5 nights in a 4 star hotel
• Pick-up and drop-off from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
• Including all meals, starting with diner on day 1 and ending with breakfast on day 6 (excludes beverages)
• Coffee, tea, water and snacks are available during the birding days, free of charge
• The weather can vary: rain, snow, wind and bright sunny days are all possible
• Expected number of species: 100 - 130
• The focus of this tour will be on Ducks, Swans and Geese (over 30 species possible including 12 species of geese!), but we will also look for owls and specific target birds (see below)
• Target birds include Red-breasted Goose, Lesser White-fronted Goose, Smew, Black Woodpecker, Crested Tit, White-tailed Eagle, Goshawk, Hawfinch, Willow Tit, Long-eared Owl and Tawny Owl
• The tour will be accompanied throughout by a professional local birdguide
• The tour will be based in one hotel; no need for constant packing and unpacking
• Additional nights at the hotel are available at € 90 per room
• Extensions may be possible on a private basis to see e.g. Eagle Owl (subject to availability)

For UK birders it is possible to get to the start of the tour by car if you want to drive from the UK.
